Conseil d’administration
Le conseil d’administration (CA) exerce un rôle de surveillance et de contrôle sur les activités du COBAVER-VS. Il est responsable de veiller à la réalisation des mandats acceptés par le COBAVER-VS, y compris celui confié par le Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP), et il s’assure que les employés du COBAVER-VS respectent leurs obligations. Le CA veille à ce que son organisme déploie tous les efforts nécessaires pour que le processus de concertation s’accomplisse par une planification des ressources en eau commune aux acteurs. Il garantit enfin le respect des conditions encadrant la démarche de planification et le processus de concertation.
Au COBAVER-VS, le CA et la table de concertation (TC) regroupent les mêmes membres. Il demeure toutefois important de distinguer leurs fonctions au sein de l’organisme. Il est également important à noter que le COBAVER-VS n’est pas en charge de prendre les décisions reliées aux mandats de la CA, ni de combler les responsibilités attribuées à la CA.
